💡 Today’s Minimum Viable Idea
🍺 🍻 Beer… Exactly the Way You Like It
Minimum Viable team here: please drink responsibly.
IDEA: What kind of beer is the best? Is it a smooth pilsner? A crisp lager? A full-bodied stout? No. The best kind of beer is free beer. I’m no brew snob, but there are certain beers that I would never spend my hard earned ad dollars on (remember to click and support our sponsors 🙂). However, if it was offered to me for free, I would enjoy every last drop. Imagine the amount product you could move by giving away something a lot of people love for absolutely no cost. Now… here’s how to make money doing it.
PRODUCT: Contract with a low cost beer company to white label (rebrand) as your own. Partner with brands looking to get in front of audiences where beer is often present (tailgates, sporting events, concerts, etc.) and replace the label with as many ads as possible. Employ several ad strategies like cost per impression or cost per QR code scan to maximize revenue. Then, simply deliver your product directly to consumers in exchange for appearing in social media content that is destined to go viral.
MVP: White label product with QR code tracking to prove massive reach.
REVENUE MODEL: Ad-based. Sell ad space on cans and use QR codes to track.
EXIT STRATEGY: Sell a large domestic beer company like Anheuser-Busch or Molson Coors for 6x revenue.

🚨 Startup News 🗞️
Publication: TechCrunch
Summary: The annual Startup Battlefield competition from TechCrunch has selected its Top 20 startups for 2025 out of thousands of global applicants. These early-stage companies will advance to pitch live at the main event, vying for prize money, investor attention and media exposure. With six minutes each on stage, they’ll represent the most promising innovations across sectors. Historically, the competition has been a launch pad for breakout companies, underscoring the significance of this Top 20 milestone.
Spin: For startup nerds (myself included), this is the equivalent of the Super Bowl. The top startups from around the world clash on stage in San Francisco and one comes out victorious with $100,000. You may have heard of the past winners like Dropbox, Discord, CloudFlare, and FitBit. If you have the opportunity to attend or just watch (times in article), I highly recommend. I guarantee you’ll be motivated to work on your startup after.
Publication: Boise Dev
Summary: A Boise-based startup, Teegle Golf LLC, co-founded by veterans Hunter Clark and Zack Gowing, is developing a new search engine for golfers to simplify tee-time booking. Their platform aggregates real-time availability and course details into one interface, eliminating the need to hop between multiple sites or calls. Currently in beta testing in Idaho, the company plans a nationwide launch in early 2026. Teegle recently won first place in the military track of the 2025 Boise Entrepreneur Week pitch competition, gaining investor and mentorship support.
Spin: Honestly, I could have sworn this already existed. But regardless of current products on the market, if you have an original take or some iteration that makes a product unique, go for it. As for this idea, the product is solid and will definitely gain traction with experienced and amateur golfers alike. Athletes are always looking for a new challenge and a new course to conquer.
🚂 Motivation Station
🧱 Ready to run through a brick wall or do you need an extra push?
Today’s motivation comes from one of the many moving speeches of legendary actor Denzel Washington. The number one thing that sticks out to me is how often he talks about his failures. He didn’t bury them or make excuses and he definitely didn’t give up. He learned from them and used the embarrassment and negativity to fuel him to greatness.

🍹 🥃 Chasers
IDEA: It seems like everyone has their own way of dealing with the burn of that comes from taking a shot of liquor. A cold Mountain Dew, a lime wedge, or even pickle juice are personal options that have done the trick. The burn is something that everyone has dealt with and it is downright unpleasant. Why has no one formulated a beverage designed to be drunk immediately after a shot that tastes good and cools the burn?
